I am not offended by what's posted here, but I do feel like I should throw in my 2 cents just so many some of you may take an understanding to it.
In the past 4 years of my journey of being a Christian, the only thing I have realized is that the reason so many people believe in Christianity is not because they are fools, but because what is written in the Bible is true.
I'll admit my reading of the Bible is limited (only about 1/5 so far) but everything I have experienced in the past 4 years has been proven true according to what I have read. The most surprising part of the Bible to me is how it defines human nature. And I have never read anything else that so clearly speaks about human actions, consequences, influences, and results and in such a simple and straightforward manner. And what amazes me is not just defining human nature, but how it gives clear and doable solution to every problem we can encounter in life.
A non-believe friend once said this to me: "The entire western civilization for the past 2000 years is built on the principals of the Bible. So in that sense there is a tangible power to this book."
And here is another way of looking at it... History has proven it again and again, that a lie can never sustain itself. So if Christianity really is a lie and only fools believe in it, it would've fell apart long ago. We won't need science or advancement in civilization to prove it otherwise.

Good to know I'll have company in the ole lake of fire
The talking snake's the only one who made a lick of sense in the whole sordid mess.
