Wally Wood was among the pantheon of cartooning giants who contributed immeasurably to the legendary EC comics line of the 1950's, one of the architects behind MAD, and the designer of Daredevil's trademark red outfit (replacing the retina-wiltingly bad original costume designed by the otherwise talented Bill Everett), In other words, a true master of the comics form, and nowhere is this more immediately proven than his simple guide to the 22 panels that always work.
