Today marks the thirtieth anniversary of MTV so, as a member of the first generation infected by its baleful influence, I figured today was the perfect day to run the following:

Two things... One, thanks to NYC corruption and the battle for cable rights in NYC (Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn to be specific), I heard this song before ever seeing anything on MTV (we had U68 as an alternative). Second, the DKs may be the only group whose lyrics as meaningful today as they were 30 years ago. How did Jello know?!
