Last night I received the shocking news of the untimely death of Dwayne McDuffie, a respected and beloved peer from the comics biz, and I'm so stunned that I don't even know what to say or write. The guy only turned forty-nine three days ago and now he's gone. That said, here's the man himself speaking on some of the issues faced by black writers in the comics biz. Rest well, Dwayne. You and your efforts will be sorely missed.
